Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and IRF or SNF background.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 60 beds
- Patient ratio of 7 to 1
- Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and peds (no younger than 13)
- Common diagnoses include neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac conditions
- Utilizes specialized equipment including EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems
- Uses UDS and Epic EHR systems
- Day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Every weekend required
- No call or float requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
- IRF or SNF experience required
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic required
Additional Information
- Facility specializes in treating patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
- Accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and CARF for inpatient rehabilitation
- Black scrubs required
- Permanent address cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
