Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring 3+ years of hospital-based MRI experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Radiology-MRI unit in a 169-bed regional referral center
• Day shifts, 12 hours each, with a 36-hour guaranteed week
• Schedule includes Wed 6:00am-6:30pm, Thur 10:30am-11:00pm, and Fri 7:30am-8:00pm
• Partial shift and holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Equipment includes Siemens C-arms, Siemens Agile fluoro/DR room, Fuji DR, and Philips and GE rooms with Fuji Computed Radiography

Requirements

• 3+ years of current MRI experience in a hospital setting required
• ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required (temporary license available with equivalent state license); license required if applicable
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

• Provide radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Perform routine radiographs, barium fluoroscopy studies, orthopedic outpatient X-rays, and C-arm OR studies
• Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs or business casual with a lab coat and basic plain personal scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this position
