Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and dysrhythmia certification along with pediatric and GYN patient care experience.
Details
- Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Primary patient population is general PACU, with pediatric and GYN cases also encountered
- 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active RN license, VT or compact required upon acceptance (any state license accepted initially)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Dysrhythmia testing required
- Experience caring for pediatric and GYN patients required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to a variety of surgical patients
- Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
- Schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion
- A personal vehicle is encouraged as public transportation is not easily accessible
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
