Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Float Pool position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Float Pool position within a hospital setting
- May float to Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, or Neuro Trauma Spine units
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
- Weekend shifts required
- Flexibility to switch to day shift may be required
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS, all AHA certs must not expire prior to start
- 1+ years of RN experience in the specialty required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
