Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent Neuro and Ortho surgical specialty experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a hospital surgery department
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, with varying start times between 6:30am-3pm
- On-call required
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Must have expertise in Neuro and Ortho procedures, with occasional robotics cases
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty
- Must be versatile and experienced across Neuro, Ortho, and robotics cases
- Cerner EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
