Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a 24+2 bed Intensive Care Unit treating critically ill patients
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to HVU and PCU (1:4 ratio) as needed
• No 48-hour or block scheduling
• Uses MedHost EMR, currently transitioning to Cerner

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Critical care experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients
• Scrubs required in any solid color
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
