Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring recent specialty experience and AWHONN certification.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit caring for patients experiencing pregnancy complications, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
- 12-hour night shifts, 7PM-7AM, 3 shifts per week
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact)
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning staff who previously worked as permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
