Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a Day shift (3x10) position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.

Details

PACU unit setting within an inpatient surgical hospital
Patient ratio of 1:2
Day shift schedule, 3x10 hours, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
Fixed schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
Previous travel experience required
Community hospital experience preferred
Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients across a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, neuro, cardiac, and general surgery
Monitor and manage patients recovering from various types of anesthesia including general, spinal, and MAC
Perform airway and respiratory assessments, including care of ventilated or newly extubated patients
Local candidates accepted at the local rate
Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
