Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a day shift position requiring 2 years of med/surg and short stay experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit in a new building with an experienced, welcoming care team
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No block scheduling available
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights
• Floating required to 2W, CDU, and ARU units
• Meditech charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/surg and short stay (23-hour) unit experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
