Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ year of experience in general X-ray procedures and C-arm use in surgery.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting across adult and pediatric patient populations
- Work settings include ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, Operating Room, and inpatient/outpatient units
- Performs abdomen, chest, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, and head imaging studies
- Performs trauma imaging including trauma shoulder, humerus, and lower extremity studies
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series preferred
- Performs mobile/portable and C-arm surgical procedures
- Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba imaging equipment and PACS system
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM
- On-call is voluntary and not required
- May float between sister facilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray procedures and running C-arms in surgery
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- WA state license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Previous Providence-affiliated permanent employees must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify
- Returning staff must also be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles may be considered at a lower bill rate
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
