Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Tech unit serving adult and pediatric patients
- Nuclear cardiology and general nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, thyroid, and SPECT imaging
- Performs stress testing procedures including adenosine infusion, Persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, and thallium stress tests
- Additional procedures include HIDA scans, MUGA scans, PET scans, lung scans, and liver/spleen imaging
- Uses Siemens equipment
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- On call as needed by facility
Requirements
- CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
- BLS required
- ARRT (N), CNMT, and NMTCB certifications preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the profession required
- Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
- Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates not accepted
