Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ER experience.

Details

Emergency Department setting with an average daily census of 130 and 47 beds
Patient ratio of 1:4
Treats all age ranges from infant to geriatric
Fast-paced ED environment with complex and varied diagnoses
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with 36/48 hour options
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty
No pre-scheduled on-call requirements

Requirements

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
Minimum 2 years of ER experience required, though 1 year may be considered with strong ER skills

Additional Information

Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and complex diagnoses
First-time travelers with strong ER skills and experience are welcome to apply
