Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS registration and experience in general, vascular, and OB/GYN sonography for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Ultrasound department
• 210-bed facility
• Shifts include Tuesday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekends Saturday/Sunday 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Uses GE Logiq 9 and 10 ultrasound equipment
• Charting completed in Meditech Expanse
• Call requirement of 4 shifts per month, with rotating on-call responsibilities as primary or backup technologist
• Responsible for at least 1 weekend per month

Requirements

• ARDMS or ARRT RVT required
• ARDMS OB/GYN or ABD certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience performing abdomen, OB/GYN, transvaginal, and vascular exams (upper and lower extremities)
• Experience with pediatric, small parts, and NICU imaging
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, transvaginal, vascular, pediatric, small parts, and NICU studies
• Facility is ACR accredited
• Black scrub color required
• Fast learners and candidates adaptable to a fast-paced environment preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers may not be considered, as ASAP start candidates only will be reviewed
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
