Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a float pool night shift position requiring an AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Float pool position covering Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Tele units across four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- 13-week assignment length
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
- Must float between departments and multiple facility locations
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to MS/Telemetry patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning and delegation
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel position
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
