Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and med-surg experience.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 59 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratios of 6:1 or 7:1
- 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required every third weekend
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Registered Nurse education required
- Med-surg experience required
- Rehab or long-term care experience preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients with conditions including amputation, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac issues, and debility
- Facility accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
- Team player personality fit preferred
- Navy scrub color required
- Report time is 6:30 PM and new arrivals should ask for the House Supervisor
- Designated parking lot available out front
- Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
