Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with scrub skills and PCI center experience for a day-shift assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Cath Lab unit supporting cardiac, vascular, and IR procedures
- Regional PCI Center with 24/7 call requirements
- No CT surgery or structural heart procedures performed
- EP procedures limited to devices only (no ablation)
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Required to scrub procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required
- CCI RCIS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Scrub experience required
Additional Information
- Support cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures including PCI, cardiac catheterizations, and sheath removal
- Perform circulate and scrub duties for cath lab and EP procedures
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening including marijuana testing upon arrival
- Must work 3 of the 5 winter holidays
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local candidate eligibility; local candidates not accepted
- Facility housing available
