Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a hospital surgical setting requiring scrubbing and circulating skills and 12 months of recent OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Scrub and circulate for robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgery cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Takes call on nights and weekends
• Responsible for accurate surgical counts and specimen handling

Requirements

• Active OH RN license (Standard or Compact) in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of recent permanent OR experience prior to travel, including scrubbing and circulating
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty required
• Co-worker references not accepted

• Team-oriented role requiring strong collaboration skills
• Expected to work every other holiday

• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
