Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.

Details

Work on an OB unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
Night shift schedule
13-week contract assignment
Provide holistic, individualized nursing care under the supervision of the charge nurse
Manage unit supplies and equipment and promote teamwork with physicians and hospital staff

Requirements

Active RN license (ME or compact) currently in hand
Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and STABLE certifications
Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Effective written and oral communication skills
Basic computer skills
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate

Additional Information

Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care
Adhere to Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
Complete general nursing and unit orientation prior to starting
Holiday coverage required
