Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a day shift travel assignment requiring strong emergency department background and relevant certifications.
Details
- Work in a 23-bed Emergency Department
- Patient ratios of 4 to 6
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend may be required
- Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius of affiliated facilities as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI or MOAB, and NIHSS
- CPI or MOAB certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
- Charge experience a plus
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
- No specific scrub color requirements
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
- RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
