Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certification along with holiday coverage.

Details

Work on the OB unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
13-week contract on days, 7am to 7pm
Uses Cerner EMR
Holiday coverage required

Requirements

Active RN license (ME or compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Effective written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate

Additional Information

Independently provide holistic, individualized nursing care using the nursing process under the supervision of the charge nurse
Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all assigned patients
Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and unit staff
Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
Complete general nursing and unit orientation
