Description
American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift contract position requiring an active Oregon RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing care for acutely ill, moderately stable patients at elevated risk for instability
- Night shift schedule (1900-0730) with every other weekend required
- Uses EPIC EMR
- Holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider Level) certification required
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent verification required
- PCU and basic EKG experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions for patients with elevated risk for instability
- Deliver direct or influence-based care for acutely ill, moderately stable patients
