Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of OB/GYN and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No call requirements
• No floating required within the primary facility, though travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS, NT, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Maternal Fetal and OB/GYN experience required
• Skills in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
• Experience with fetal abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, head, and heart imaging
• Experience with amniocentesis and Doppler vascular studies preferred
• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system preferred
• Experience in high risk OB and maternal fetal medicine settings preferred
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
• Experience with transvaginal, renal/pelvis, uterus, and vaginal imaging

Additional Information

• Perform maternal fetal and OB/GYN ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures
• Assignment includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent employees of any Providence facility (other than the specific hiring facility) are eligible if separated for at least 3 months
• All Providence facilities honor active compact licenses
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position
• Minimal RTO requests preferred; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
