Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Med Surg RN for a 36-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio, requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent experience.

Details

• Work across two Med Surg units covering ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6 depending on acuity
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Floating required between the two Med Surg units
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across diverse Med Surg patient populations including ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice cases
• Scrub color required is royal blue
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous CHS perm staff employees are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
