Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with pediatric, NICU, and adult ER/critical care experience for a day shift hospital position.
Details
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts per week
- 9-week assignment length
- Hours per week: 36
Requirements
- RRT license required if applicable
- ACLS and BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required in a United States hospital setting within the specialty
- Must have pediatric, NICU, and adult ER & critical care experience
- Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying most recent experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
- Administer respiratory care per physician prescription, including diagnostic evaluation, management, education, and rehabilitation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
- Apply technology and treatment protocols across care sites, including medical gases, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Provide cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic cardiovascular support as needed
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted beyond this radius
