Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU/Surgical Stepdown position requiring stroke/PCU experience and RQI certification.

Details

Work in a MultiSys PCU (Progressive Care Unit) setting
6-week assignment with 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 days (7a-7p) and 3 nights (7p-7a)
36 guaranteed hours per week
Every other weekend required
Unit standard floating requirements
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
RQI certification required
Stroke and PCU experience required
COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to stepdown and surgical stepdown patients requiring progressive cardiac monitoring
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate
No radius rule for this position
Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
