Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift contract requiring a Maine or compact RN license and current BCLS certification.

Details

Emergency Department setting providing patient-family centered care
Three 12-hour night shifts per week with varying schedule
Uses MedHost EMR system
Holiday coverage required

Requirements

Active RN license in the State of Maine or compact license, or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current BCLS required
ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire date
2 years of experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
Ability to function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations

Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team in developing patient care plans
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the organization's mission, vision, and values
