Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting, requiring over 1 year of clinical experience.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting in Decatur, IL
• Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 10-11 patients per day
• Evaluations scheduled in 30-minute blocks with sessions lasting approximately 1-1.25 hours
• Treats conditions including Achilles tendonitis, ACL tears, post-op back pain, disc herniation, fractures, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff issues, and vestibular/balance disorders
• Uses NextGen for documentation
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
• Clinic hours vary: Mon/Wed 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, Tue/Thu 6:30 AM-6:30 PM, Fri 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• More than 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Outpatient case management experience required
• Strong communication skills required
• Ability to work collaboratively within a PT/PTA clinical team
• New graduates will not be considered
