Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse House Supervisor for a critical access hospital, requiring WI or compact RN license and prior charge or supervisor experience.
Details
- Critical access, Level 4 trauma certified, acute Stroke Ready community hospital setting
- Provides clinical back up primarily to the Emergency Department, as well as Med Surg/Special Care units
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
- Required to work every third weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Float required within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
- Epic/Excellian EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC
- Preferred certifications: ENPC, NIHSS, SANE
- 2 years of experience required
- Charge or supervisor experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Leadership experience a plus
- Skills required: Charge Experience, Conscious Sedation, Telemetry, Triage
- Preferred skills: Vents, Triage, Charge Experience, Leadership
- 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as Administrative Nursing Supervisor providing leadership and clinical oversight across the facility
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, with no exception for local candidates in this role
- Candidates must be gone 3 months from their last shift worked as Perm staff or Per Diem to be eligible for rehire
- RTO requests ideally no more than 5 days
- Pending license accepted at time of offer
