Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy position requiring 2 years of GI/Endo experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- Work in the Endoscopy unit
- 4x10hr Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a floating day off
- Call required, including weekends
- Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of each other
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact)
- Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Degree accreditation documentation must be included for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff and fully integrate into unit culture
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency
- Candidates securing full-time housing in the area are preferred over those commuting from a distance
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, as RTO will not be approved afterward
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including a required in-person visit for badge/ID before starting remote orientation
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Flexibility and a team-player attitude are highly valued in this environment
