Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Certification.

Details

• Mixed-acuity progressive care unit providing medical, surgical, and stepdown level of care
• 39-bed unit with a primarily elderly patient population, though patients as young as 18 may be cared for
• RN patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
• 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required, with proof of state residency
• Current BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required prior to consideration
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
