Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehab unit requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab Unit on the 4th floor, 16-bed capacity with approximately 20 staff
- Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN plus 1-2 additional RNs; night shift includes 1 point person plus 1-2 additional RNs
- Additional LPN and PCT support when census reaches 15-16 patients
- Uses Welch Allyn equipment and Meditech EMR
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p) with every 3rd weekend required
- Floating to any medical floor as needed
- Cares for post-stroke patients, surgical patients (neuro or ortho), and medical patients requiring increased therapy
Requirements
- Active RN license (KS or compact) required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS or PALS preferred but not required
- Basic Dysrhythmia class preferred
- CRRN certification preferred
- Rehab documentation knowledge preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Rehab RN experience required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)

- Provide direct patient care to inpatient rehab patients including post-stroke, surgical, and medical cases requiring increased therapy
- Join a highly experienced team with an average of 20 years of staff tenure

- Required uniform: royal blue scrub top and bottom, black scrub bottoms also acceptable
