Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and the ability to work across inpatient and outpatient settings at two facility locations.
Details
- Critical access hospital with 23 total staff beds
- PT Acute Care Hospital unit with floating between units based on need
- Position requires traveling between two hospital locations approximately 23 miles apart, covering inpatient acute care in the morning and outpatient services in the afternoon
- Day shift schedule: 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:20am-5:50pm
- Patient ratio of 1:5-10
- No weekends, on-call, or block scheduling required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- WA state license required, compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- License required if applicable
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience in both inpatient acute care and outpatient clinic settings required
- Ability to travel between two facility locations required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings
- Scrub color is open to any color
- No parking fees at this facility
- Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed
- Open to first-time travelers
- Returning former employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- RTO requests should be submitted upfront, as requests made after submission may not be accommodated
