Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment at a Level III trauma center, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Medical unit (3A Medical) within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled 36-48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Heparin drip experience preferred
- Skills checklist specific to Med/Surg discipline required
- Supervisory reference/performance evaluation completed within the last 2 years required
- Valid driver's license required
- No employment with the facility within the last 12 months
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide and manage patient care in a Level III trauma center environment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited to 1 day off request during 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
