Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARDMS registration.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting performing general ultrasound procedures
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday from 19:00 to 7:00
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
- Cerner charting experience required
- May float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- ARDMS registration required
- BLS certification required
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
- May be required to hold ARRT registration
- License required if applicable
- Ability to maneuver equipment and adjust patient positioning as needed
Additional Information
- Performs independent sonographic imaging on pediatric patients following physician instructions
- Prepares and operates equipment and positions patients to obtain diagnostic images
- Treats patients with care and respect
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates are accepted
