Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Ambulatory Care clinic position requiring PACU/Endoscopy/Interventional Radiology experience and women's health services background.
Details
- Ambulatory care setting within specialty care clinics
- Pregnancy termination clinic assisting with 1st and 2nd trimester procedures
- Duties include exam room assistance and post-procedure recovery care
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- No weekend or call requirements
- Mandatory float position with floating required at facility discretion
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Illinois required, pending license not accepted
- BSN from an accredited college or university required
- Two years of PACU/Endoscopy/Interventional Radiology experience required
- One year of experience in a women's health services program including family planning services required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- MSN preferred
- One year of experience in reproductive health services including termination procedures preferred
- One year of full-time clinical experience including telephone triage and Telehealth nursing preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
- Assist with pregnancy termination procedures and provide recovery care
- May float to a variety of units outside primary area of competency with a team-based support model
- Accepts local candidates only, must reside within 75 miles of the facility
- RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days, weekend RTO not approved
- No holiday RTO and no RTO the day before or after a holiday
- Block scheduling requests not accommodated
- Proof of COVID vaccination required, booster not required
