Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RCIS/ARRT certification for a 13-week assignment in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Details
- Work in a 4-room cardiac catheterization lab (CVL Invasive unit) with 1 patient per room
- Team includes 22 staff members consisting of RNs and Techs
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- All GE equipment rooms
- Documentation systems include Meditech and MacLab
- 13-week assignment with 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM shifts
- On-call team required for night shift coverage with 4 staff members on STEMI call
- Call requirements of up to 15 days during critical periods
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- RCIS and ARRT certification required
- Neuro experience required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing required
Additional Information
- Perform cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing duties
- Daily huddle calls with emphasis on building relationships with the Director, staff, and patients
- Facility recognized with a Gold Seal of Approval and known for strong departmental leadership
- Surgical scrubs provided by the unit
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.
