Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a NICU position requiring MT or compact licensure and prior NICU or critical care nursing experience.

Details

  • Work in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) caring for neonatal patients
  • Variable shift schedule with possible weekends and holidays
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider certification required
  • STABLE certification required
  • Minimum one year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or ICU nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient and family education
  • Assesses patient needs and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Participates in stroke competency education, including two hours initially and one hour annually
  • Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
