Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 3+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at a referral health center serving the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.

Details

• Provides respiratory care, emergent and intensive respiratory services, and diagnostic procedures at a 73-bed acute care facility
• Day or night shift based on operational needs, 24-hour rotational coverage
• 3 or 4 shifts per week
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required
• Overtime as required
• No leave requests approved during the assignment
• Orientation occurs every two weeks
• Facility currently reports low COVID census

Requirements

• Active state license required (if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Associate's degree in respiratory care or equivalent certificate of completion
• General/acute hospital respiratory care experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from AHA
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from any US state, Puerto Rico, or US territory
• Fingerprinting must be completed and cleared prior to start
