Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of adult outpatient/acute experience and Hawaii state licensure.
Details
- Acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
- Day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
- Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with adult patients in outpatient and acute settings
- Current BLS certification from American Red Cross required
- Hawaii state license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
Additional Information
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Independently manage a full caseload and determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start
