Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient rehab experience for a hospital-based assignment, requiring BLS certification and Hawaii state licensure upon acceptance.

Details

Primary coverage in acute inpatient rehabilitation with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab
Patient population includes adults in acute, rehab hospital, or SNF settings
Uses Meditech for documentation
Variable schedule including Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, Tues-Sat 8:30am-5:00pm, or Sun-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm
Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hospital operations

Requirements

Current BLS certification required
Minimum 6 months of experience in at least one adult setting (acute, rehab hospital, or SNF)
Hawaii state license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
Primary acute inpatient experience required

Additional Information

Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients and implementing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the attending physician or consulting specialist
Provides consulting physical therapist services as needed
Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of offer
