Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room/Circulating nurse requiring an active AK RN license and 3+ years of OR experience.
Details
- Works in the Operating Room handling elective and emergency surgical cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedic, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
- 13-week assignment with 4/10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday
- On-call coverage required on a 1/3 rotating share basis, covering nights, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted AK RN license required at time of submission
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Additional Information
- Efficiently multi-tasks to ensure surgical cases proceed in a timely manner throughout the day
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or rural Operating Room settings strongly preferred
- Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are processed
- First-time travelers with OR experience are welcome to apply
