Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 18 months of L&D experience and a GA or compact license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• NOC shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, as needed based on department rotation
• Uses Meditech charting system

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• 1.5 years of overall RN experience required
• 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required, along with Fetal Monitoring certification
• ACLS preferred
• IV insertion skills required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Maximum of 5 RTO days allowed if not near a holiday, reduced to 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request permitted per contract
