Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Post Anesthesia Care night shift position requiring at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

Surgery center setting within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Night shift schedule, working 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
16-week contract assignment
Floating required within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required at time of consideration
BLS and other AHA certifications required, non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but AHA must be completed before start
Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references required

Additional Information

Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients recovering from anesthesia
Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
