Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R)(M) certification and experience performing 3D mammography and stereotactic biopsy procedures.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient mammography setting
- Patient ratio of 1:28
- Day shift schedules available, either 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 11:30 AM-8:00 PM, 5x8 hours
- Possible Saturday shifts required
- Procedures include 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- Equipment includes Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm Bx systems
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (R)(M) certification required
- CRT (R)(M) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Valid CA state license required
- Proficiency in digital quality assurance procedures, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and universal precautions/core measures
Additional Information
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures along with biopsy and localization support
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
- Accepts local candidates at local rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Returning staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
- Only 1 holiday RTO request allowed per contract
