Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and NYS licensure for a day shift assignment in Glens Falls, NY.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department setting
- 8-hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday from 7am-5pm
- 40 hours scheduled per week with 36 hours guaranteed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Uses GE imaging equipment, Epic EMR, and McKesson PACS
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required, CT experience a plus
- Venipuncture experience required
- ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification required (either accepted)
- BLS certification required
- NY state license required if applicable
- Previous travel experience strongly encouraged
- Candidates must provide their own vehicle
Additional Information
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using GE equipment
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested, and must be submitted at time of upload
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2 hour notice
- No block scheduling will be considered for this position
- Candidates with a permanent address in certain nearby NY counties will not be considered for this assignment
