Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 32-bed IMC/Stepdown unit
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Rotating every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Equipment includes IV pumps, SCD pumps, Bipap/Cpap, and telemetry monitors
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU/IMC specialty required
- BSN and PCCN preferred
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide care for pre and post-operative patients
- Administer drip titration and non-titration drips
- Navy scrub color required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
