Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Women's Services position requiring 2+ years of charge experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in the Women's Services unit of a 143-bed acute care hospital
• Unit includes 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Ante-partum, and 10 Postpartum/Gyn/Peds beds
• Patient population includes maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Patient ratios based on acuity
• Uses Philips fetal monitors with OB TraceVue and MediTech EHR
• 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
• Scheduled for every 3rd weekend
• No call requirements
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with charge experience required
• 3 years of experience with charge preferred
• Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn specialties
• Report to the Director of The Birthing Place
• Follow facility dress code with no specific scrub color requirement
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced local rate
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
