Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a busy large hospital setting, requiring multi-specialty OR experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a busy, large hospital setting
• Supports multiple surgical specialties including General, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics
• 13-week assignment on evening shift (5x8 hours, 14:30-23:00)
• Weekday schedule with possible weekends and holidays within the contract
• Not currently assigning travelers to the call rotation, though occasional shift coverage may be needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience preferred
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties preferred, including Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, General, and GYN
• Epic charting experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced OR environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
• Local candidates within the 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Return staff who were never permanent employees are eligible to apply
