Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Observation unit day shift position requiring Telemetry competency and current Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

Work on the 1S Observation unit with required float coverage to other Med-Surg units including Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac, and possibly the ED if appropriately skilled
Day shift schedule (7a-7:30p) with every other weekend required
On-call responsibilities are rare
36 hours per week

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA and will be tested on this skill on day one
Current Epic EMR proficiency required; refresher classes or 1:1 training are not accepted alternatives

Additional Information

Candidates not proficient in Epic or unable to pass the Telemetry/BCRA competency test will be immediately terminated
Start date is fixed unless the candidate is a returning traveler to the facility within the past 9 months
