Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and telemetry skills.

Details

Med-Surg Adult, Observation, and Telemetry Med/Surg unit
Night shift schedule, 7p-7am with set schedules
Med-Surg/Observation ratio of 1:6, Step Down ratio of 1:4
Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication system
Call required during times of low census, in rotation with full-time staff
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract

Requirements

Active AZ or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
Step down experience preferred but not required
Flu vaccine required with no exceptions

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to adult Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry patients
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
RTO limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
